I. Mace Phillips

Associate

I. Mace Phillips, III is an associate with the firm. His practice focuses on representing doctors, nurses, dentists, and other healthcare providers in professional liability matters. Mr. Phillips also represents clients in construction, general liability, and other civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Phillips graduated with honors from the George Washington University School of Law in 2018. Prior to law school, Mr. Phillips received bachelor’s degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, in political science and English literature in 2013 and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy in 2015.

After law school, Mr. Phillips completed clerkships with the Honorable Stephen H. Kehoe in the Circuit Court for Talbot County and the Honorable Brynja M. Booth of the Supreme Court of Maryland.

Before joining the firm in 2024, Mr. Phillips practiced complex commercial litigation with a boutique firm in North Bethesda, Maryland, where he specialized in contract and other business disputes in state and federal courts and in international arbitration.
